Local Activities

SURFING, KAYAKING & PADDLE BOARDING

We have world renowned surfing at nearby Playa La Saladita. There are surf lessons, board rental and repair available at several locations around Troncones. Kayak and SUP paddling tours are also just down the road at la Boca and in Saladita.

HORSEBACK RIDING

Enjoy Playa Troncones on four legs instead of two! Professionally trained horses will take you on a relaxing walk or an exciting gallop down the miles of pristine beach.

DELICIOUS CUISINE

Fine and casual dining is available for every taste and budget. We even have our own vegan restaurant, Café Corazon, right next door, and a popular sushi restaurant on the south side of the village, as well as an Italian deli, Delizia, and far too many good local restaurants to list here!

BOAT TOURS

Just minutes away, out of the marinas in Ixtapa and in Zihuatanejo, you can take whale-watching, diving, snorkeling, fishing and sailing tours, and there are some water-based tours available in Mahajua.

HIKING, BIKING & ATVs

Hiking, mountain biking, and ATV tours are all locally available.
A short but steep walk right out our back door will take you to el Mirador where you can see the entire stretch of the Troncones coastline. An amazing spot to catch some of the stunning sunsets we get here!

YOGA AND WELLNESS

There are several yoga and mediation retreats as well as
acupuncture and massage nearby. Present Moment Retreat holds yoga and meditation classes daily and is just a few steps away from Las Rocas!
